Studio Policy

Liability and Risk Acknowledgment:

While every effort is made to ensure student well-being during classes, it's important to recognise that classes may involve physical exertion, and participation acknowledges the risk of personal injury. Our studio is not liable for any loss, damage, injury, death, costs, or other consequences arising from or related to its classes or programs, as permitted by applicable laws.

Indemnification Agreement:

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pivot Pole Studio, its management, members, and staff from all losses, liabilities, claims, actions, proceedings, penalties, and costs (including legal fees) arising from these terms and conditions.

Drop-in Classes: 
-Payment/credits for drop-in classes are non-refundable after reserving a class. You have the option to reschedule up to 24 hours prior to the class you have reserved, and they are only usable during the current term season. Please check your calendar and make sure your schedule aligns with the classes to ensure a smooth experience through the reservation process.

Late cancellation and Rescheduling:
-Students will only be allowed to attend any program or class upon full payment of all applicable fees. PPS does not do refunds, pro-rate lessons or guarantee availability of replacement classes.

Class registration:
-All courses and classes are non-refundable and non-transferable, unless you are unable to continue for medical reasons, of which Pivot Pole Studio (PPS) will take into consideration supported by certified medical documents.
-PPS reserves the right to substitute teachers advertised for classes at its discretion, and will ensure that the replacement teacher is qualified and skilled at a level required to take the relevant class. The studio has the right to forbid you from taking the class if they deem you sick, unfit, injured, or if you pose threat to themselves or others.
-All classes are subject to a minimum and maximum number of participants, and PPS reserves the right to cancel or amend courses or classes. If the studio cancels a class that you have registered and paid for, the credit will be added back into your account.

Health and Conduct:
- Do not consume  alcohol or any mind altering drugs before and during the activity and you take full responsibility for any injury, loss or damage associated with their consumption. You agree not to drink alcohol or take drugs prohibited by law before or during in any activities conducted or organized by Pivot Pole Studio.

Cleaning and hygiene:
- You are expected to uphold good personal hygiene standards. 
- Kindly clean the pole after use and ensure thorough removal of any grip aid used.

Latecomers Policy:

-Warm-up is crucial and mandatory for every class under the instructor's supervision. If you arrive late, you must complete your warm-up under the instructor's supervision. However, please be aware that if you exceed the grace period, the studio reserves the right to ask you to sit out of class to observe. This policy ensures that your body is adequately prepared and safe for class, while also minimizing disruptions for ongoing sessions.

We strongly encourage you to arrive at least 10 minutes early to mentally and physically prepare yourself for your session. This will ensure that you have a safe and enjoyable experience with us.

Video Recording Policy:

-Please refrain from recording instructors or other students without consent. Video recording is allowed only in the last 10 minutes of class, unless the instructor grants approval to film specific materials during the session. We kindly ask you to respect this policy to maintain a relaxed environment and protect everyone's privacy.
